“Anti-Racism Mobilization” to protest against The Rebel’s free speech rally

A new group called “Anti-Racism Mobilization” is planning a protest against The Rebel’s indoor rally in support of free speech and against sharia law that will take place in Toronto on Wednesday, February 15, 2017.

Faith Goldy, a reporter with The Rebel explained the importance of the rally a day before the vote in the House of Commons on the Liberal motion M-103:

Motion M-103 demands that the government not only condemn Islamophobia (without defining the term), but also demands that it develop a whole-of-government approach to reducing or eliminating Islamophobia.

The Canadian government is preparing to silence anyone who criticizes Islam. Their anti-Islamophobia motion resembles a kind of blasphemy law in favour of one preferred religion above all others.

This motion flies in the face of our legally enshrined Canadian rights and freedoms!

According to our charter of rights and freedoms — we’re all equal. Every individual (not a belief system or ideology) is equal before and under the law. We all have equal protections and benefit equally from the law.

The Rebel’s commander, Ezra Levant, Faith Goldy, and Conservative MPs Pierre Lemieux, Chris Alexander and Kellie Leitch will deliver speeches at the event. For more information click HERE.

The “Anti-Racism Mobilization” group posted a Facebook event inviting the public to join the demonstration against the “hate speech” of The Rebel’s rally. The following are excerpts from its statement (click HERE):

Their event is a rally against the Motion 103 put forward last fall that would call the Canadian government to formally condemn Islamophobia and all forms of systemic racism and religious discrimination as well as track Islamophobic hate crimes…

After the Islamophobic terror attack in Quebec City, it is a reality now more than ever that white supremacist hate speech fuels violent action.

Rebel media and kellie leitch and co want to rally against it, sensationalize it as an “attack on free speech,” and create fear around it because it bad for their brands and their business.

IF YOU CANNOT ATTEND: please call the hotel to voice your opposition to the event being held there. Show that hosting white supremacist rallies is unacceptable

*** We ask protesters to be mindful that one of rebel media’s tactics is to drum up conflict or provoke violence at these protests, and then use it to further their agenda !! ***
