The new condo project will be built at the intersection of Jane and Highway 7 and will be named Transit City Condos.
Transit City Condos will have a 55-storey residential tower that will be the tallest building in York Region.
The project will be built by Smart Real Estate Investment Trust (SmartREIT) and CentreCourt Developments which has built about 3,000 condos in downtown Toronto.
The condo building will include residential apartments sized in the range of 500 Sq. Ft. to 1000 Sq. Ft. The building will be part of the company’s 100-acre development plan, which will include residential buildings, office buildings and a commercial centre that will includes retail stores. The development will be named SmartCentres Place. It is one of the largest projects in Canada that combines commercial space with residential buildings.
The location of the condo will sit adjacent to the new TTC subway station. Residents in the building will have access to the Vaughan’s new YMCA community centre, which will be 100,000 Sq. Ft. and will also be adjoined to a new library.
The building lobby will look like a boutique style hotel and will include a 1,500 Sq. Ft. Buca Bar that will provide refreshments throughout the day until the evening. Next to the bar will be 4,500 Sq. Ft. of the renowned Italian Buca restaurant. Residents of the building will have access to delivery services from the restaurant to their condo.
The new downtown of the city of Vaughan in Ontario was named Vaughan Metropolitan Centre, and is expected to be a vibrant and modern urban centre for residents and businesses that will encompass all amenities of urban lifestyle from inspiring multi-use office towers, residences, open green space and urban squares, pedestrian shopping areas and restaurants, to walking and cycling paths.
Extension of the subway line to the heart of downtown Vaughan facilitates the connection between the area to York University and downtown Toronto.
With approximately 179 hectares (442 acres) of development opportunities, the area will include 1.5 million sq.ft. of office space, at minimum 750,000 sq.ft. of retail space, 12,000 residential units to be home to 25,000 people and employment of 11,500 jobs of which 5,000 will be new office jobs.

Purchasing Pre-Construction Real Estate:
In order to have the best advantage when purchasing pre-construction Real Estate, it is important to be granted access to purchase before sales are open to the general public. Typically once a developer’s sales office opens to the general public, prices may have gone up. The opportunity for you to invest in a unit at the lowest price possible is before it is open to the general public. You can be one of the first purchasers to be invited to PLATINUM/VIP sales event long before the presentation centre opens to the general public. This gives you an exclusive opportunity to have the first access to inventory, best pick at unit levels, floor plans, lowest price and the ability to take advantage of any PLATINUM/VIP incentives the developer may offer.
