On June 22, 2017, Beit Halochem Canada which provides rehabilitation services to 51,000 disabled Israeli veterans and victims of terror through several rehabilitation centres in Israel, will hold its annual Celebration of Life Concert, showcasing Israeli musical talent and heroic stories of strength, determination, and triumph.
The concert will take place at George Weston Recital Hall, Toronto Centre for the Arts, located at 5040 Yonge Street in North York.
This year, Beit Halochem will be honouring four remarkable Israeli heroes:
Ron Abadan, a member of the Kfir Infantry Brigade, who was critically injured in the summer of 2016.
Captain Ran Ben Atia, an Operations Officer in the Nahal Brigade during Operation Protective Edge.
Itzik Dadoush, who served during the Yom Kippur War and has been honoured twice by the Israel Ministry of Defence.
Haim Lev Tov, who served in the Paratroopers Elite Commando Unit “Palhan” and was severely wounded in Operation Protective Edge.
Musical performers will include:
Hananel Edri, who has performed in musicals, the Israel Song Festival, and as part of the Israeli delegation to the Eurovision Song Contest.
Osnat Harel, a singer/songwriter with a variety of bands and a composer for Israeli and international productions.
Alon Radai, an accomplished composer, keyboardist, and musical producer in a diverse range of musical styles, including jazz, rock, reggae, pop, and R&B.
